Sleeping in a Castle

When our girls were growing up, we watched the movie “Ever After” over and over. I have to admit, I’m a sucker for a Cinderella story. So imagine our delight when we start down the driveway of the Chateau de Pont Rilly … it really feels like the castle from that movie! Bad internet (who would expect good internet from a chateau built in 1765), so may not have many posts in the next few days, but we are so excited to be here!!

We also had a lovely dinner at L’Epicurian, our first classically French dinner. It was a lovely way to welcome us to Normandie!
It was a dark and stormy night when we returned after dinner! What a view, driving up through the gates and seeing the Castle silhouetted in the lightening!!
