We Survived Labor Day Weekend on the Airlines

What were we thinking?! We could have picked any day to start this trip, and wayyyy back in February, we decided September 2nd was it. We missed the fact that it was the Friday of Labor Day Weekend!

We had over 20 changes to our flights in the 7 months since we purchased our tickets! The result…we had a 35 minute window between flights at our layover in Chicago (did I say it was the Friday of Labor Day weekend?!).

Turned out, it was all a breeze! Walked right in through security in Phoenix, made our connection in Chicago with no problem! Next stop, customs!!
